In anticipation for Earth Day we will be screening Abby Martin’s new documentary Earth’s Greatest Enemy on April 21. I have invited local politicians, from ward councilors to MPs as well as those who work at GDLS-C, the factory in town who manufacture Light Armoured Vehicles which are distributed around the world.
This film will give us an in depth look at how the military industrial complex is the greatest perpetrator of climate change – leading in carbon consumption and outright assault upon the ecosystems and habitats we require to maintain human life on this planet.
During a time of increased international aggression, Canadians can be leaders in offering peace. Rather than pushing out more and more armaments and instruments of war, we could focus our attention of building public transportation, reducing our carbon foot-print, and encouraging a peaceful society.

This is a donation based event.
Licensing fee for the film is $300 and running the space costs about $300
